Social Programme 

A post Conference Tour will take place on Sunday 13 July (06:00-18:00Hrs). This optional tour will cost $75 per delegate - payable on registration in advance or on arrival.

Note that the conference registration and AfTA membership payments are separate from the cost of the tour. See below for full details of the one-day tour of the Central Region

Akwaaba!!!. Explore the exciting heritage, history, hospitality and smiles of Ghana by embarking on a day tour to the nerve centre of Ghana's tourism. 

Drive in an air-conditioned bus along the three hundred and fifty two (352) kilometers coastline of Ghana dotted with slave castles, forts and lodges from Accra to the twin towns of Cape Coast and Elmina to visit:

1. The slave castle of Elmina built by the British and the Portuguese in 1482. This is one of the largest slave castles in Africa.

2. Explore some of Ghana’s flora and fauna by visiting the Kakum National Park. Walk on the seven-bridge canopy walkway hundred (100 ft) feet above ground. 

3.Lastly but not the least enjoy Ghanaian buffet cuisine right on the beach at Elmina beach resort.

Bus leaves Accra at 6.00am. Tour must be pre-booked.
